Snuck up on Francis at work and snapped this….
I love watching how he builds up the image. From a basic sketch, through to the intricate, detailed finished painting. This ewe is being worked on paper using acrylic paint. The paint has a tendency to dry quickly and so his approach to the image has to be swift. Check out the sheep he’s just sold for an idea of how this one will look when complete.
